Provided:
The identified gifted students program at Washington High School meets on "A" days on the block schedule for the Advanced Reading class, in which the students meet with the gifted education teacher to participate in enhancing their skills and talents in individual interest areas.  The teacher for gifted students direct and collaboratively plan a series of activities in which the student may be involved, such as college preparation, enrichment in their regular academic curricula and career discovery and exploration.

The identified gifted students program at Eisenhower Middle School meet daily for the Advanced Reading and Language Arts class, in which the students meet with the gifted education teacher to participate in enhancing their skills and talents in Reading, Language Arts and their individual interest areas.  The teachers for gifted students direct and collaboratively plan a series of activities in which the student may be involved, such as enrichment in their regular academic curricula and opportunities to esplore their creativity.
